The latest evolution of the BMV series, the BMV-712 Smart is designed to monitor the state of charge of your battery bank and provide accurate information about the current voltage, charge and discharge current, and consumed energy. Included with the BMV-712 Smart is a 10m 6 core UTP with RJ12 connectors, a cable with a 1 amp slow blow fuse for '+' connection and a 500A/50mV shunt.
The BMV-712 Smart features a large, easy-to-read digital display that displays real-time data about your battery bank, including the battery voltage, current, ampere-hours consumed, and state of charge. The monitor also has a built-in Bluetooth module, which allows for wireless monitoring and control of the BMV-712 using a smartphone.
The BMV-712 Smart is equipped with a high-precision shunt that accurately measures the current flowing in and out of your battery bank, and the built-in algorithms provide accurate state-of-charge calculations based on the measured data.
The BMV-712 Smart is able to store a wide range of historical data so adjustments to your Victron system can be made to further improve performance. It is able to communicate with most Victron Systems and can be viewed from the Victron Connect application.
The monitor is compatible with a wide range of battery types, including lead-acid, lithium-ion, and gel batteries.
