Similar to the MultiPlus, the Quattro is also a combined inverter and charger. This Inverter/Charger can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Its many features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology plus multiple system integration features such as three or split phase operation and parallel operation.
Two AC Outputs:
The main output has no-break functionality. IN case of a grid failure of disconnection, service will remain undisrupted. The unit transfers in 20 millisecond so loads such as computers, internet service, lighting, etc. go undisturbed. The second output is live only when AC is available on one of the inputs of the Quattro. Loads that should not discharge the battery, like a water heater for example, can be connected to this output.
Split-Phase and Three-Phase Capabilities:
Two units can be configured for split phase, and three units can be configured for three phase output. But that’s not all: up to 4 sets of three units can be parallel connected to provide 96W / 120kVA inverter power and more than 1600A charging capacity.
Power Control:
A current limit can be set on each AC input. The Quattro will then take account of other AC loads and use whatever is spare for charging, thus preventing the generator or mains supply from being overloaded.
Power Assist:
When the Quattro experiences peak power briefly and mains power is not sufficient it will compensate by using power from the battery bank. When regular loads are restored it will use spare power to recharge the battery bank.
Remote Monitoring:
When paired with a GX Device such as a Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX the installation can be viewed remotely via internet or locally through bluetooth. The entire system can be viewed by Victron Remote Management and BatteryOnePR can help you troubleshoot your system remotely.
